Handcrafted Nuno Wet-Felted Alpaca Shawls

Each of our Nuno wet-felted alpaca shawls is a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art, handcrafted using luxuriously soft alpaca fiber and an artistic blend of natural fibers and embellishments.

Using the traditional Nuno wet-felting technique, fine alpaca fibers are carefully layered and felted to create a lightweight, beautifully textured fabric with an elegant drape. Layers of hand-dyed Merino wool, shimmering silk and Tussah silk fibers, and decorative ribbons are incorporated throughout the design, adding rich color, dimension, and movement.

The natural variations created during the felting process give every shawl its own distinctive character—no two are ever exactly alike. Alpaca provides exceptional softness and warmth without unnecessary bulk, while silk and Tussah add subtle luster and the Merino wool contributes beautiful texture and depth.
